Hanover County Commonwealth’s Attorney, Mackenzie Babichenko, is bringing together representatives from the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Police, MAORCA, and the retail community to strengthen the way we communicate, investigate cases, share intelligence, and work together toward successful prosecutions.

Topics are expected to include:

Current retail theft, fraud, and ORC trends

Building stronger criminal cases and improving evidence collection

Identifying repeat offenders and organized groups

Law enforcement and loss prevention partnerships

What happens after an arrest and how cases move through the court process

Legal and legislative updates affecting retail crime

Intelligence-sharing resources and continued collaboration

Open discussion about the challenges retailers and investigators are seeing in the field

This is intended to be an interactive forum. Come prepared to ask questions, share what you are seeing, and make connections with the law enforcement, prosecution, and retail partners who may help with your next case.
